One Expedition

One Expedition – Father and daughter drive around the world to raise awareness about poverty.

As a young boy Arun Patel grew up on Africa.  His life took him around the world where he eventually settled in the U.S. as an information technology consultant.  40 years later Arun returned to his village that he grew up in only to find it a ramshackle condition and the villagers in need. Desperate to help out, Arun and a friend worked on how to best help his village.  In looking into the issue of poverty they recognized that this is a global issue. 

To deliver the maximum impact of bringing awareness to this issue they crafted the idea of driving around the world to raise awareness about global poverty.  Teaming up with One.org Arun now had a global platform to deliver his message.  One.org is a global organization devoted to poverty relief.
