Event coverage is designed to provide international travel medical insurance and other benefits to voluntary participants. The circumstance may be a one-time event such as an international sporting event or an ongoing event such as missionary work. While the event organizers may have no legal requirements to provide this coverage, ITG Worldwide has found it to be a tremendous help in recruiting volunteers and participants. Coverage is on an optional basis, so the event organizer typically does not pay the premium.
