Agency Contracts
Globalization will increasingly affect the way insurance brokers and consultants conduct business. Unfortunately, U.S. domestic health insurance and foreign social healthcare were not designed with the international traveler and expatriate in mind. U.S. health insurance and foreign social healthcare are not able to provide the necessary coverage to protect travelers and expatriates.
U.S. health insurance is ineffective overseas offering only reimbursable emergency benefits and not providing necessities such as emergency evacuation, repatriation and assistance locating international providers.
Socialized healthcare systems (Medicare included) offer no coverage beyond their country’s borders. There is an increasing number of people and corporations who are looking for global insurance products to solve these deficiencies and offer peace of mind while traveling or living outside their home country.
ITG Worldwide can assist you by evaluating your client’s international needs, offering a range of solutions and providing ongoing service and support. We have the ability to offer basic travel insurance plans, international employee benefits for global corporations, custom designed plans, coverage for foreign nationals in the U.S. on various visas and high-risk coverage for war zones. If ITG Worldwide can’t broker or build a solution for your client, it probably doesn’t exist.
